M.A.M. "research complete" notification not working

There's apparently supposed to be a notification when the M.A.M. finishes researching something.  I've never gotten this notification.  At least one of the youtubers I'm following doesn't get it either.

Oddly, in multiplayer, my roommate (client) does get the notification, but I (host) still don't.

Only time I've ever gotten that notification is after I research the first item. It never triggers again for any subsequent items.

Agreed that it should.

August 28th update: We've removed downvotes!
