Crash in northern desert area

Happens in build 95718 (not sure of earlier builds) and 96032. If I'm in the northern desert area, after a while the game will just crash and any saves (auto/manual) created in that area will also cause a crash. If I reload an earlier save NOT in the desert area the game loads fine.
