I like being able to place splitters/mergers directly onto a belt. I also like things to snap to the foundation grid. Can we haz both?

This may be an issue when the conveyor belt is raised up by conveyor poles but it would be neat if this was also an option.

Not sure how this would be helpful...

If you have "snap to foundation grid" on then when placing on an existing belt you'd have one side of the splitter/merger nicely on the belt but the other side would not be (unless the belt just happens to be aligned with the grid, in which case it's aligned with the belt).

I'd like to see the snap option of splitters/mergers when the belt is placed on a foundation as well. In that case belt and splitters/mergers would conform to the grid.

It is possible to place them on Belts. Just stand on the belt and aim for it. And things allready snap to foundations

They are asking for both to function at once.

Would be better if this is optional, i mean, that the Splitter/merger placed on a belt don’t snap to the foundation grid allows fine tuning and often more precise and better solutions.

So I think its kind of supposes without snapping on belts, maybe they could add this as an optional feature.
