When building out in the wild it often happens that you run out of materials. Running/driving back to base takes a long time and is a pita.
This idea would build on the much requested drone feature.
Simply take out your remote order device and tell the system what you need. A drone would collect the ressources from either a central hub that has to be connected to a storage system or the drone would fly around to all storage containers within a certain radius around the drone hub.
The drone would then fly to either the player (following the player if he has moved in the meantime) or drop the ressources at the location specified when the order was placed.
