Without hamachi, attempting to join a multiplayer session only results in returning to the main menu. We've tried any solutions we could find online short of messing with the router since we are living at college. Hamachi is the only thing that has allowed us to connect to each other, but the player who joins cannot move or do anything except look around, cannot see the host player, and eventually crashes.
I understand that if I could configure my router that would probably fix it but most games don't require this and those that do are actually playable through hamachi. I bought this game for myself and my friend so that we could play it together, but we cannot. I'd refund it if the epic games store supported such a basic function.
