After a crash, loading prior 3 autosaves resulted in respawn screen but no death

Game crashed while I was out exploring. When I loaded the last autosave, it did the 'executing respawn.bat' even though I hadn't died, and I was still alive out where I had been exploring. I loaded all 3 autosaves and it did that for every one. Prior manual save was at least an hour before, but did not have this bug.

August 28th update: We've removed downvotes!
