Would be Nice to get rid of some items that back up the system so that they could be used elsewehere  so for a exsample would be  iron rods could be turned back in to iron ingots could make peoples systems more efficient

Some type of recycling machine would be cool yes.

And like the constructor / assembler / manufacturer for more complex parts assembled I think it would make sense to have multiple steps.

Why?  You have infinite resources.  Add a splitter and storage to every machine that produces a product, so then when you need a handful of something, you just go grab it.  No need to deconstruct anything.

Yea I'm trying to think of a good reason for such a machine.  Iron rods are always useful somewhere.  I can't think of any resource I could produce that I couldn't use more of or be used to produce something.  It's not even like any machine has multiple outputs so there is ever waste to take care of.

I could see a lot of use to a Void(item destruction) machine but to a Un-constructor, nope.
