The storyline better be that after completing all the space elevator task, your company was now able to build a planet destroying spacecraft and used it to destroy some innocent society for some greedy reason, and because got the know the peacefullness of an extraterrestial planet, you now have some morals and see that you can't keep supporting your beloved company, and you rebel in some way. You know, stuff like this :p
