On Experimental, many of the bounding boxes got updated. It's now possible to make a much sharper turn and for the most part, theses look good and don't clip anything. The storage container is one of those cases where clipping is possible.

If you start your conveyor at the container and drag your conveyor out so that it makes a 90 degree turn, it will make a proper 90 degree turn. Instead, if you take the tightest turn that you can make with the previous method, put a conveyor pole one unit closer to the container, and then drag the conveyor from the conveyor pole to the container, the conveyor will slightly clip near the point where it enters the container.

I would comment that I would like to be able to have the container and 2 of 90 degree turn within the span of 2 tiles, so the fix that I would like to see here is a slight shortening of the container. Right now, doing this leads to the conveyor clipping the wall on both sides.

Edit: It seems that this behavior is also present with splitters and mergers.
