Conveyor Lifts & Truck Stations

While the game is undergoing a flurry of Conveyor Lift changes/implementation, would it be possible for the Lift to connect directly to a truck station?  Currently, a player needs to insert a small section of belt between the Lift and any of the inlet/outlet connections on the station in order for the Lift not to encroach.  I can only assume this is due to the station's ginormous hitbox.

June 24th and this issue hasn't been fixed yet. It would be very nice to let us connect a conveyor lift directly to an input or output since "visually", nothing prevents a conveyor lift from being there. I hope the devs will update this.

July 26, still not addressed. All it would take is redrawing the storage bin to include the boom stanchion, and move the ports back for clearance.
