[Experimental] Map scrolls to distant areas when exiting vehicle

Question

The map scrolls to distant areas (while hidden) when exiting a vehicle (Exlorer). Afterwards, when opening the map, it often shows only black  (I have only explored a small area around the starting area). In order to find your location on the map you have to zoom out and pan a lot since the centered map area is quite off.

This is not the case when using the map before and after entering a vehicle.

A quick workaround is to just close the ingame map and open it again. Then it centers the player.

The other annoying problem is, that the map never centers the player while driving the vehicle (at least the explorer).
