Lizard doggo de-spawning

So I thought it was something I was doing but apparently the doggos are meant to de-spawn... Not sure why but can they be made to stay? I've also seen other posts about training/collars/armor for your doggo!

How about different colour/type doggos for different places? Gives us another reason to go explore.

Definitely need more doggo options.
