Before the big end of april patch that just went live on the early access build I built a line of assemblers getting fed by two belts on top of each other. I put the splitters directly on the belts and they would feed in the assemblers. The top splitter had a belt going down to the assembler input. The bottom splitter was at the same height as the assembler input. Everything worked fine.

Now, when I remove the belt going from the top splitter to the assembler input, I cannot put it back as I get the message the the conveyor belt is too steep. I was under the impression that the max incline was increased and not decreased, so I see no reason that I can't make the same build as I could before. Is this a bug or working as intended.
