A thought I had: You know how you can have a wall that has a conveyor pass-through? Why not a floor with the same? I like to run conveyors under the floor to transport some personal use supplies to storage containers near the hub, but bringing them up out of the floor means removing a full 8x8 section of ground. What if you had a ground tile that was an 8x8, but maybe 2x2 of it had a built-in lift for transferring above/below the floor. This would also pair well with a hanging conveyor mount.

Not possible to show you now, but I use walkways to fill-up the gaps. And with the railing on walkways it looks pretty nice. Not perfect, but nice. In a big factory and the many points where the conveyers go up or down you start to think it is intended this way

Yeah I know what you're referring to. I've done that, as well, though it's not quite as ideal as what I'm imagining.
