That's... The only logical thing? I mean, I understand why, but wouldn't it be more organized if we put them into the same function group?

Well.. storage is meant for organization and splitters/mergers/belts are design to convey items, i.e. logistics.

so for me it makes perfect sense.

You might think your idea is correct because you're using the container as capacitors for your logistics, not as storage.

Because it is their primary use, as buffers, right? Don't tell me you never used them as so?
