I was just running some numbers concerning converting my oil power plant into using Turbo Fuel, and with 480 oil/min coming in, I can turn that into 480 Turbofuel/min with the help of 240 Coal and 240 Sulfur/min.

Now, coal seems to be abundant enough for this to be reasonable, but the nearest place I can get that much sulfur is like a third of the entire map away. Sulfur is just not very abundant.

Main Point: I don't think it would need to be a huge reduction, maybe to like 20 Sulfur/min instead of 30 (to make 30 Compacted Coal/min), or 22.5/min. At most, down by half to 15/min.

Side note, 240 Sulfur/min is maybe a bit much, but 64 fuel generators and 9,600 MW of power is too good of an opportunity to pass up :D

What do y'all think?

Sulfur is not abundant, but it really does not need to be. Other then making explosives, compacted coal and Turbo fuel are really the only use cases. Both Turbo fuel and compacted coal are not really required anywhere in the main crafting chain at this point in time. In other words, they are just a nice bonus, a bone that the devs are throwing at us. They are a nice added bonus which turns excess sulfur which would otherwise go unused into something useful. As a side note, here on earth, we generally try to avoid coal which has a high sulfur content.
