[Question] End of the map damages [Solved]

Question

Ok so I have a question about the map :

I am currently at the left bottom corner of the map, on an island, because I wanted to discover the map.

The problem is that if I go a little too far on the island I am taking damages for no reasons.

I asked on discord and people told me it is because I am at the end of the map.

My question is : Why am I taking damages from the middle of the island ? Why not at the end of it ? Or even why not after the island, in the water ? Is it a bug or is it normal ?

Edit :

I suceeded to get after this point, apparently you don't take damages if you are in a vehicule.

@Enalung is right, what is after isn't finished, this is why, so I think it's intended and not a bug.

There's 2 possibilities. The first one is that they are working on what's beyond that wall and that they don't want you to access that location. The second is that the edge of the map as it is planned is really just beyond that wall and they don't want you to see the mess that is behind that beautiful scenery.
