Hello there! I was wondering if there's going to be a graphical option which allows for the shadows of belted items to be toggled off.

The reason is that when you start having thousands of items moving on fast belts, the lag becomes quite tremendous. Setting the shadows option to "Low" (thus toggling off shadows altogether) dramatically improves the situation, but having an essentially transparent world, where no building or world object casts any shadow and the sunlight shines bright even inside factory rooms and through thick forests, really compromises the beauty of the game.

Of course, the most intuitive fix for this would be to add a "Very low" option (or maybe a separate, dedicated option) and making the current "Low" toggle off shadows of belted items only, while leaving the other shadows active, keeping this way the realism and beauty of the view.

If something like this is already considered for a later performance-oriented update in a few months, it would actually be great to have it as soon as possible instead. Not trying to demand here, but a small integration like this would mean a huge difference for a lot of players with decent but not top-of-the-line PCs.
I can completely agree on this. As a disabled Veteran on a limited income, my laptop with a 860M GPU can only compute so much before crying GPU abuse.
Thank you for this suggestion, as it is a large quality of life thing for many of us. Especially with the lag and other issues already present when attempting multiplayer...
