I know from my multiplayer gaming sessions with friends that we on more than one occasions, have started calling vehicles by certain names. Like for example in our first game when we made our first automated route for delivering oil products to our base, we began calling that sugarcube Laika.

Also the ability to name vehicles would make it easier to get an overview of how things are organised with giving vehicles names like Rubbercube and Steeltruck.

Last but not least, naming vehicles would give them kinda a personality ;)
Not only that, but there are other very good gameplay reasons to have this ability.

Yepp, I checked that suggestion and plussed it too.

I mean if that and this were combined, you could much more easily control which vehicles accessed or were served by which stations.
