Whenever one of my friends joins the game, I get a hard lock. This has been an issue since before the experimental train patch. 

As the host I can load the save, and interact with the map fine, but as soon as someone joins it instantly locks up.

Looking into the FactoryGame.log crash file, I see the following at the end:

I tried moving the hub, removing the most recent constructed factory before the crash started presenting itself, and moved very far away from all factories & conveyor belts and the crash still occurred, with the same stack trace error -> UFGFactoryLegsComponent::CreateLegs()

It's just not clear what "legs" does mean, sorry, just speculating....only dev could answer this... something is wrong with a "legscomponent" and an "actor", but this could be anything :/

I had not recently  built new ones, but my friend had. I looked into this problem more, and have worked out a solution.

The stack trace error report was actually being generated when I (the host) loaded the game - NOT when other clients tried to join. I had a total of 4 Manufacturers in my map, with the process of elimination and lots of saving and loading, I determined that this one was the culprit: https://i.imgur.com/ouQkVOC.png

After deconstructing that Manufacturer, my friends could successfully join the game.

A side note - I still get a crash report every time I load that map - but the error now relates to the Space Elevator. It's not yet presented issues with players joining, but here is that stack trace:

Looks like a similar issue with the space elevator's legs to me. Do they maybe overlap some foundations like the manufacturers did on the screenshot?

Maybe you can dismantle it (with the save game editor?)  and replace it somehow?
