I have an idea. What if you could build Container storage onto belts just as conveyor splitters and mergers. I mean without destroying the belts and reconnecting them back to the storage. Just one click.

Something like this woud make a great buffer solution if needed

wouldnt look really pretty... u can still place the storage on a foundation as a buffer.

Well but you still need to destroy the belts ,build the storage and than reconnect the belt to the storage and from storage to the following belt. Instead of this long procedure, you could do it in one click.

yea but a flying container? :/ Perhaps a storage with the seize of a splitter could do the trick, obviously with less storage capacity.

Splitter would not be able to serve as buffer as good as inserting the storage. There could be some limitations, so it wouldn't look ugly or too impossible.

not a splitter. a Storage the seize! of maybe a splitter. u could even stack it on splitters perhaps. what kind of limitations you are thinkingo f ?

I am sorry I translated the word "seize" wrongly. It should have been "size". Then I agree with your idea of creating a smaller buffer storage.
With the limitations I thought limitations how and where you could put the storage, so it wouldn't be ridicously flying.

i dont mind splitter seized storages flying. but i would mind an industrial storage flying xD
