I would love that because i hate to rewire every machine and it would make upgrading your own factory easier.smiley

What happens when you "downgrade" the pole - which connection(s) should be arbitrarily disconnected?

Well i dont know why the downgrade system even exist (i only use mk4-5 belts ). I would say than that pols cannot be downgraded.

Great question about the downgrade.  Slots 1,2,3,4 of the Mk 1 pole match slots 1,2,3,4 of the Mk 2 pole.  When you downgrade, like deleting, you lose the slots 5, 6, and 7, and their respective power connections disappear. Upgrade back to Mk 2, you have 5, 6, and 7 freely open to connect things to.

Downgrading is not an issue!

The only reason I can think of to downgrade is if you accidentally upgraded the wrong pole. (IMO they are cheap enough I wouldn't bother.)

Add to that a power line tool which directly uses the upgraded poles. I never use them because I would have to separately place them first and then hook up the cables. The power line tool is just faster.
