First, smart and programmable splitters are rarely of use as they are now. Here's how to change that:
The new programmable splitter is
- really programmable in terms of may have multiple outputs of the same type with percentage settings.
- output and inputs on every cube are freely changeable
- vertically and horizontally stackable - but it stays one thing. this new expandable bulding has an internally "connected backplane" - everything that flows in can reach any output with full speed - maybe max it to 3 in every dimension.
Give the smart splitter the function of the programmable splitter - a de facto sorter. Still a niche function but if you want that.
Cheers,
Michael
