Cannot join friends world

Hi,

I bought the game yesterday and today I am trying to play with a friend, but for an unknown reason it bugs: when clicking Join, it says "Joining online session", it loads for a few seconds and after that we are trown at the menu again.

We tried also inviting each other, but got the same result.

I saw multiple "fixes" online, but nothing worked; firewall exception, etc.

I'm having the same problem after the latest (train) patch. Multiplayer worked fine before but now it throws you back to the main menu just like you described.

had the same problem. The Issue was that i had Arachnaphobic Mode "ON" and the Host had it "OFF" Meke sure you have the same settings as the Host :-) It worked fine before but for now it has to be the same setting as the host ones.

We had a similar issue yesterday. Solution: Go into the Gameplay options. Toggle "Send Gameplay Data ". (Change & Save and Change back & Save).  

it seems that a Gameplay ini makes some Problems.
