It would be nice to have some way of flying around the map. Not super fast, but to explore. Would it be possible to add an airship/blimp or the possibility of taming the big flying stringray? Getting around the map can sometimes be a pain, and the scanner can be difficult to follow.

Also: let us use the scanner while driving, preferably also the build tool. When driving to set up a remote site with for instance geyser power, drawing the power lines there is slow and time consuming, as I have to get off the car all the time to place power poles and scan for directions...

they already have land vehicles, their not cars but they are VERY similar. They cant have our cars we know cuz ya know, its an alien planet and this game is futuristic.

No, we're well supplied there, even if the autopilot system is a pain. I had a tractor take off into the horizon once, never to be seen again. Not sure what happened - I was apparently too far from the "track" when I started the autopilot. I have not yet found the damn thing...

You can already use the jetpack + conveyor belts and fly from one end of the map to the other in seconds. It's already in game now.

Hm, I have tried to go somewhat far with that combination....but from one end to the other? And of course I'd have to bring materials for making a belt for the return trip. Now I want to try with the fastest belt and make a "ski jump"... Oh, I'm gonna be the Satisfactory version of Johnny Knoxville....

But it would have been nicer if there was a blimp or something like that, and if I could use scanner an build tool while on vehicles. Getting off and on all the time is a pain

I have tried for the fun of it to take a round trip on the sting ray. Nice view, but it also made me wish I could control it.

Height is your friend in this sort of thing. The higher you are when you start the further you can go with it. Also use small short bursts to maintain altitude and don't worry about forward thrust with using belts and you should be able to get really far per belt.
