Removing the icons, (build hammer/wrecking crane/etc.), from the center of the screen would drastically improve line of sight. Still have them on screen, just not in the middle of our sightlines. Place them off center.
I'm tired of having those icons in my way when building long conveyor belts for example. Can't always see if I'm connected... even with the audible "click"
