Fuel Generator Encroaching others clearance

While building some fuel generators I noticed that they use much more space than they should. I couldn't build a fuel generator because always it said "Encroaching others clearance". I had to remove many foundations and walls because they touched the invisible part of the building. You may think it's only the little tower/chimney in the middle of the generator needing space in the height, but in fact it is the complete buildings volume (floorarea x height) and so you can't build in the empty space around the chimney.

That right. It's a giant box that needs space. Rather than waste more time programming only the area of the chimney it's a box that needs clearance.

Did you make this topic to inform new people about encroachment or did you have a question about this? This is a Q&A board and you seem to have simply made a reference to encroaching space.

I think it's a (low priority) bug and would be nice if they fix it in future, so see it more as a bug report :)
