Not a suggestion / bug but interested in how you achieved the level of detail thing where belts in the distance with items move differently to those up close?  Great optimisation technique - clever stuff.

I think hearing/reading that they changed it so each section of belt works as a container. So they only need to keep track of items (with in and out) on the belt but don't need to keep track of each individual item on the belt.
