Alien Carapace

At one time, the alien carapace could be turned into biomass. 100 per was a little extreme, but that recipe has been removed. Now the alien carapace is just a junk item that eats a slot in a storage container somewhere, even tho we are asked to collect them for research. It would be nice if we could use these for something. Armor? Biomass at maybe a lessor rate?

I agree there should be another use for the Alien Carapace

Last I checked, you could still turn it to biomass. Heck, I remember it being 1500 biomass, when using the recipie in the constructor.

CrazyOdd  is correct. Alien Carapace can be created in to 1500 biomass now. You need to research alien Carapace in the MAM.
