It's annoying when a belt was supposed to snap to a very close input/output, but it stops short and you have to delete the post and the belt (this really stands out with manifolds). A toggle to make them snap in a bigger radius would help a lot (a hold would be hard with the rapid nature of placing belts and moving around).

Sorry, but i don't understand your suggestions. I don't see the issue with Building belts. Max. length of a belt is 6 foundations and you need only Two clicks to Build / drag&drop them.

Not quite sure i understand. you mean to snap belt into existing slots such as mergers, splitters, smelters etc? and instead of snapping in, it instead creates a new pole right next to desired connection? cause sometimes its a bit tricky to hit properly..? i guess in this case, increased snapping distance would make things easier

And Akujar, yep! When you are speeding through a manifold connecting the tiny belts, it would be nice to not need to aim as exactly to connect things
