8x1 foundation leaking light

Currently, 8x1 foundations are not blocking lighting of any kind, these foundations rather buggy since whatever update over a month ago and really harshing my mellow. Also, you can't seem to lock them into the hotbar between sessions which is rightly annoying. 8x2 and 8x4 foundations don't appear to experience this issue.
