Cannot connect with friends to play the game, tried different solutions and it didn't work.

I recently purchased the game to play with a few friends. After i bought it I attempted to connect to a friends world and vice versa, no luck because I had a strict NAT type. I scoured the Q/A for answers to my problem. I've restarted my router, forwarded ports, set up a static IP, opened literally everything on my firewall, still no luck. I have no clue what to do now, and I'd love to ether play this game with my friends or just get my money back.

August 28th update: We've removed downvotes!
