I would love to plant trees, bushes, flowers and other assorted park themed stuffs if it would be possible, would love to make some nice green parks in and around the factories, maybe even be able to plant the edible fruits like the blue nuts or berries.

In last q&a devs stated there won't be any farming or anything related to that

Mods can probably do it. But if you play multiplayer you will probably need to wait for official modsupport.
