So I am issues with Foundries not taking in iron ore off of belts to make Steel Ingots,  the only way I can get them to work for a few moments is to rebuild the foundry and reconnecting the belts, and that seems to only work for a few moments/ cycles of the foundry. Coal still enters just fine, just the Iron stops. I have 2 foundries that this happens too.. fed from the same iron ore veins

So after some more digging, i discovered that Limestone somehow got mixed into the belt line.. not sure how, probably a double click someplace in a bin. However the two items are almost identical and near impossible to distinguish without hovering over them with the cursor, Perhaps changing the color a bit, so they are not so similar.

Man I had this exact problem and it was driving me insane. Read your post then checked and found out I a resource node I was using was copper, not iron.

Happy you found by yourself that a contaminated conveyor line can paralyse machinery.

It's satisfying to solve issues by ourself.
