Can we get a visual indicator of how full a machine is?

Question

It would be really useful to have a visual indicator of how full the stack of items is inside a machine. Something like the green/yellow/red light that indicates if the machine has power and/or is working. It would be especially nice for the generators so we could look across the factory and see if they need to be refilled. They already have a yellow bar running down the side. That could indicate the percentage of the stack that's inside them.
