Is there going to be a demo?

I'd like to know if coffeestain has any plans to release a demo version.

Specifically, i was thinking they could repurpose the alpha weekend build to be the demo (with multiplayer disabled likely).

I think it would be a lot easier to recommend it to firends if there was such a version of the game they could play around with before deciding to buy it or not.

This is on a more personal note, but:
If a game has a demo, i instantly respect it more. Then the game itself is what does the convincing, not the videos or online reviews. You can decide yourself if you want the game or not.
I'm certain that the fun i've had in that weekend was the thing that ultimately got me to buy the game on release day.
