If constructors were made just a tad thinner, then I would be able to line them up neatly when bringing conveyor belts through the wall.

For example, build 4 walls with centered conveyor windows feeding the conveyor into constructors.  Only 1 of the belts will be straight and aligned to the window, as the remaining 3 constructors will be pushed over further with each one you place.

Storage containers and smelters line up nicely as they are thinner than 1 foundation block.

I figured the challenge was intentional. One way to get them lined up is to stagger them between two rows with a space between, so no two constructor squares are touching.
