I often build many very short parts of a belt manually, because the standard pathfinding is not smart enough.
Some ideas from high to low:
- going around poles, splitter/merger, other buildings (now it is blocked)
- respect terrain height (now it goes underground or mid-air)
- snap to grid (keybinding to force 90 or 45 degree also on dirt)
I'd like to see an improved pathfinding.
