This may well be a research that allows you to improve your hand and in one click to change the direction of movement of the conveyor.

you could just check the directional arrows that tell you which way the belt will move and, you know, *not* build if it's wrong?

That's not the point, you missed it by a mile.

+1 to that, i reworked the outside of my factory a couple of times already and everytime i change an incoming to an outgoing lane i have to change ~500m of belt. Deconstruct x20, Construct x20

Would be much easier to just rotate it :/

Not to sound agressive or anything; thats far from what I want. But, isn't that your own fault for radically changing your factory so much?
