Trader NPC For Resources

I find it slightly annoying how I always have stuff lying around that I don't use as I can make more of it for less hassle. A trader NPC that would allow you to trade in current resources for better resources would be a pretty cool way to combat this.

I saw elsewhere a suggestion of being able to use the space elevator to send resources up that we don't use as a way of trading that doesn't break the game.
NPC's feel like a game breaker to me but trading with the people up in the space elevator seems reasonable enough. We are sending stuff up there for them to build with so why can't they send things back down that we need in exchange for something else.

u have in the right down corner in ur inventory a trash symbol put items on this deletes them

should make things better for u
