Currently, if you want to disable the functionality of an Assembler you need to put it in to Standby mode.  Which is wonderful for our power grid but not so much for the production.  Components just queue up when not being used by the Assembler.  Could we have an option to have the one or both components just pass through the assembler on the conveyorbelt and continue on down the line?

I realize logistically this may not make sense or work with the current game mechanics, so I  just wanted to say I appreciate the time the developers are taking on this already well-made game.

Just put a splitter in front of the constructor / assembler, if the machine is off, parts will be splitted at higher speed. Pass through achieved. Well, asuming you have a conveyor fast enough for it.
