Just finished downloading the new patch and proceeded to start the game.  Never had an issue with crashing before but now I can't load, continue, or even start a new game.  1 out of every 3 tries it will go from the satisfactory loading screen to the fixcit screen before just stopping, I'm not even getting a crash error, it just stops for 2 minutes then straight back to the desktop.  What ever was fixed in the patch...now needs fixed rofl.

Are you running out of memory?  I had a similar issue and it seemed to be related to me being low on available memory.  I rebooted my computer, shut down some unnecessary processes, and was able to play.

unfortunately no, I have 16gb of ram, i have task manager up and running on screen 2 to check for that and it doesn't get anymore than around 35% usage on it.  The game as soon as I click to load a game or start a new one just stalls as soon as it hits the Satisfactory screen for like a minute or 2 then closes (shows in task manager as not responding) but isn't giving me a crash report.

Did you try Verifying files in settings? If that doesn't work, uninstall/reinstall.

Nope, tried verifying, tried uninstalling/reinstalling, nothing is fixing it.  I would turn off the auto update, but this most recent update is already in the main program now so a fresh install already has it.
