it would be nice not having to jump across a gap to enter my HUB, or to clamber accross the various parts of my factory.

Totally agree, Please add snap to buildings, belt edges, HUB, and EVERYTHING. This game is so dependant on a good perspective that having elevated walkways is really important. Also please allow walkways on the edges of belt poles or have their own poles to hold up the walkways.

Something like this would certainly help keep the base looking tidy.
